In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery with precision and safety, ensuring efficient project progression. Your mechanical expertise and experience on construction sites will help deliver high-quality results while maintaining a safe work environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, skid steers and other construction machinery to perform tasks like grading, digging, lifting, and material transportation Safely maneuver equipment including John Deer and plate compactors. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functioning and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment across the site efficiently Install water and sewer line to also include conduit line. Prep for inspection and pass. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine maintenance Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and protocols Ability to read technical manuals and interpret project plans accurately Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Knowledge of machinery brands including John Deer equipment is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise drives progress!
