Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Foreman and Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy or light machinery and equipment to complete pad site construction and maintenance projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Duties:
- Operate various types of heavy or light equipment, including but not limited to loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers and graders
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
- Adhere to project specifications and timelines
- Maintain records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy/light equipment is required
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A is preferred
- Knowledge of residential and commercial site excavation operations is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
