Duties Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and other construction equipment with precision and safety. Manage the operation of specialized vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers. Assist with site preparation by grading, excavating, loading materials, and clearing debris to ensure smooth project progression. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Collaborate closely with construction teams to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project specifications. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and operational reports for accountability and compliance. Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites by positioning machinery and assisting with material handling as needed. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites. Strong mechanical knowledge of various machinery Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, front loader trucks, and water trucks. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures. Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Knowledge of operating specific equipment like dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and roll-off trucks. Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
