Summary As a Feedlot Equipment Operator, you'll be an essential part of the team, operating equipment and tools to support daily feedlot operations. You'll take on a variety of hands-on tasks, helping keep everything running smoothly while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Operate equipment such as tractors, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks to support day-to-day feedlot operations, including maintenance and construction projects. + Level and bed livestock pens, particularly during winter months, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for cattle. + Assist with loading, hauling, and removing manure to maintain clean and well-managed pens. + Perform routine equipment checks and light maintenance, including fueling, monitoring oil levels, and ensuring equipment is properly greased. + Partner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is serviced and operating efficiently. + Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while completing assigned tasks. + Support additional duties as assigned by supervisors to meet operational needs. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
