The ideal candidate will have experience operating a skid steer for grading and site preparation, as well as the ability to accurately shoot and check grade using laser equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operate a skid steer to perform rough and finish grading. Use laser leveling equipment to shoot grade and ensure proper elevations. Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and elevation markers. Prepare and level surfaces for paving, concrete, and other site work. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on skid steer equipment. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Work closely with crew members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating a skid steer in grading applications. Ability to shoot and verify grade using laser equipment. Knowledge of site grading, drainage, and elevation requirements. Ability to read construction plans and grade stakes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in outdoor environments for extended periods. Comfortable working around heavy equipment and construction sites. We offer competitive pay based on experience.
