Equipment Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to facilitate excavation, and other related tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety regulations. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, haul trucks, rollers, dozers, and wheel loaders to perform excavation tasks. Safely dig and prepare sites for construction projects, ensuring proper depth and alignment. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow on-site. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to minimize risks. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions or issues promptly. Assist in the transportation of materials using trucks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to excavators, haul trucks, rollers, dozers, and wheel loaders. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
