Pay:

$25.00-$30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Saturday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (40+ hours per week)

Overtime:

Time-and-a-half after 40 hours English We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Equipment Operator to join our scrap metal recycling team. The ideal candidate must have experience operating an excavator and be able to safely load trailers with scrap metal and other materials. This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and following all safety procedures. Responsibilities Operate an excavator safely and efficiently. Load trailers with scrap metal and recyclable materials. Sort, move, and process scrap metal throughout the yard. Assist customers and truck drivers as needed. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Requirements Previous experience operating an excavator is required. Must know how to properly and safely load trailers. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an outdoor environment. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Must be dependable, motivated, and work well with a team. Responsabilidades Operar una excavadora de forma segura y eficiente. Cargar remolques con chatarra y materiales reciclables. Clasificar, mover y procesar metales dentro del patio. Ayudar a clientes y conductores cuando sea necesario. Realizar inspecciones diarias y mantenimiento básico del equipo. Mantener el patio limpio, organizado y seguro. Cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad de la empresa. Requisitos Experiencia previa operando una excavadora (obligatoria). Saber cargar remolques de forma correcta y segura. Ser bilingüe (inglés y español) (obligatorio). Capacidad para levantar más de 50 libras y trabajar al aire libre. Transporte confiable y buena asistencia. Persona responsable, motivada y con buena actitud para trabajar en equipo.
