Experienced construction/on-off highway CDL A drivers needed. Experienced construction machinery operator needed. Looking to fill full time positions with availability immediately. Majority of our work is in the Peoria area meaning you will be home every night however opportunities will come up where we will head to different cities around Illinois and spend the work week there. Overview Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure, commercial projects, and material processing. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Pay is based on experience, performance bonuses available Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, and other construction equipment to perform site preparation, grading, lifting, and material handling. Safely maneuver trucks to transport materials across the construction site. Use mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support various tasks related to construction site logistics, including loading/unloading materials and operating specialized equipment as needed. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, dozers, excavators, etc. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Valid class A (CDL) with experience driving manual transmission, ability for loading/ unloading equipment Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and operational best practices. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency.
