In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and commercial trucks to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help drive project success by managing equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and driving skills to make a tangible impact. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling machines, tankers, and paving equipment with precision and safety. Must have a valid CDL license to Drive commercial trucks including dump trucks and other specialized vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites. Conduct pre-operation inspections of machinery and trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, paving, and material hauling tasks as needed. Follow all safety protocols and procedures during equipment operation and driving activities to maintain a safe work environment. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress, equipment status, and safety concerns. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and transportation records. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators (such as Caterpillar models), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling machines, tankers, and paving machinery. Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving dump trucks or similar vehicles. Excellent understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and trucks. Skilled in excavator operation along with loader, dozer, backhoe, grader operation, and water truck handling. Knowledge of construction processes including paving, horizontal drilling, grading, and material handling. Join us in building the future!
