Blade/Motor Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Blade/Motor Operator to precisely shape and level the earth to final grade using a Motor Grader with a Total Station GPS System. The operator will be responsible for scarifying, breaking up, and loosening dirt, as well as mixing materials, dressing slopes, shoulders, and embankments. The role requires expertise in operating on both rocky and standard earth terrain. Responsibilities Operate a Motor Grader using Total Station GPS System for precise earth grading. Scarify, break up, and loosen dirt, and mix materials effectively. Dress slopes, shoulders, and embankments to specifications. Handle both rocky terrain and standard earth terrain with skill. Read and interpret blueprints for construction and site development. Operate on mass grading sites ranging from 200k to 20 million yards of dirt. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience operating a Motor Grader. Proficiency with models such as

CAT 140M, CAT 150M, CAT 160M.

Expertise in heavy equipment, commercial and civil construction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Valid driver's license preferred. Work Environment The civil construction site is located on open farmland in Lebanon, IN, subject to diverse weather conditions from humid summers with thunderstorms to cold winters with snow and freezing rain. Adherence to OSHA safety protocols is mandatory. Professional appearance and behavior according to the Site Code of Conduct are required. The work schedule is from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of extended hours based on project demands. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
