Full Job Description Subsidiary:
Superior Aluminum Alloys Responsibilities:
Actively engage in TCOS program and initiatives Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure equipment is safe and ready for operation Operate heavy/mobile equipment such as pay loaders, skid steers, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner Assist with the operation of the dryer and shredding processes, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently Transport, stage, and store materials using proper handling procedures Load and unload trucks, including dross trucks, using mobile equipment while following all safety and material-handling guidelines Identify and sort aluminum for proper grading and processing Maintain a clean and organized work area to reduce hazards and ensure safe workflow Communicate with team members regarding equipment status, safety concerns, and operational needs Perform all other tasks assigned safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
Strong commitment to workplace safety with a clear understanding of and adherence to safety rules, procedures, and regulations Ability to safely operate mobile equipment Ability to work in all weather conditions and industrial environments Some heavy lifting required Self-motivated team player with excellent attendance and reliability Strong verbal and written communication skills Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
