Excavator Operator

Trap Rock & Granite Quarries is currently looking for an experienced Excavator & Wheel Loader Operator with a Class A CDL. The employee would be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavators and front-end wheel loads for various projects. This role requires a high level of skill, precision, and adherence to safety protocols while performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and pushing piles. Responsibilities

• Operate excavator in a safe manner
• Lifting and placing materials
• Unloading rail cars on train days
• Operate a front-end wheel loader as needed
• Loading trucks
• Stockpiling and moving materials around
• Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance of equipment in accordance with company policy.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needs to Terminal Manager.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment. Qualifications
• 1+ years' experience with operating an Excavator
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics and basic troubleshooting
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Strong commitment to safety
• Good communication
• Must have knowledge of CAT 336 Excavator and Running CAT 982 Front End Wheel Loader
• Flexible schedule due to trains
