About T&R Construction T&R Construction is a concrete, utility and civil construction company based in Salina, KS. Job Description T&R Construction is looking to hire experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team! Equipment Operators at T&R Construction must be able to operate several different types of heavy equipment, in a safe manner, in various job conditions. Benefits BCBS Health and Dental Insurance Life Insurance (Company paid) AFLAC options Vision Insurance 401k with match PTO Program starting First day of Employment Paid Holidays Job Requirements Experience with operating various types of heavy equipment, such as: Excavators, Graders, Skid Steer, Rollers, HydroSeeder, Pavers, etc. Knowledge of proper and safe operation of heavy equipment Ability to maintain, inspect, clean heavy equipment Work in a crew environment with positive attitude Strong work ethic Must be able to follow instructions Must be able to pass a drug screen Adhere to all safety rules and
OSHA/MSHA
regulations Able to work outside in all weather conditions. Physical ability to lift 50 or more pounds Must follow all PPE requirements per jobsite requirements Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late, when necessary Must be willing to work overtime or weekends when necessary Ideal Candidate 3-5 plus years of experience operating various types of heavy equipment in a construction environment Knowledge of equipment with Trimble & Topcon GPS Systems Knowledge of grade stakes and grade checking Ability to read construction drawings Possess a current Class A CDL License (preferred but not required)
