Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and precise completion of construction projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery including excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, dump trucks, water trucks, and horizontal drilling equipment to perform excavation, grading, paving, utility work, and site preparation. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Perform construction site tasks that require precise control of machinery for grading, excavation, Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations efficiently while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including excavators (such as Caterpillar), loaders, graders, backhoes, skid steer, and water trucks in a construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on various types of equipment. Valid driver's license with experience with heavy equipment is a must. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures on-site. Construction site experience with a focus on excavation, grading, paving. Excellent understanding of equipment safety procedures and the importance of maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Construction experience demonstrating familiarity with site preparation processes such as excavation and grading operations.
