Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator - Class A CDL

Duties Operate heavy-duty tow trucks, including flatbeds and specialized wreckers, to recover disabled or damaged vehicles safely and efficiently Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, hooks, and straps Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach Perform basic automotive repairs or assist mechanics with repairs on heavy-duty trucks and recovered vehicles Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or roadside emergencies Use manual transmission skills to maneuver trucks in tight spaces or challenging conditions Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle condition reports Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or wreckers in a commercial setting Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles and automotive diagnostics Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely Experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is highly desirable Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus for handling heavy equipment or parts Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally during roadside incidents Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Conflict management skills to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively Join us if you're eager to leverage your driving expertise, mechanical skills, and customer service talent in a fast-paced environment!
