Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Join a Stable Outdoor Equipment Operation Snelling Staffing is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator (Front-End Loader) for a well-established vehicle processing and storage operation in Eminence, KY. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career. This position is responsible for safely operating a front-end loader (wheel loader) to move and position vehicles throughout a large outdoor yard while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate a front-end loader (wheel loader) safely and efficiently. Transport and position vehicles throughout the yard. Load, unload, relocate, and organize vehicles in designated areas. Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Maintain awareness of surroundings while operating heavy equipment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Assist with general yard operations as needed. Operate equipment while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience operating a front-end loader, wheel loader, skid steer, excavator, forklift, or other heavy equipment preferred. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Mechanical aptitude is a plus. Valid driver's license preferred. Willingness to learn company equipment and operating procedures.
