Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate haul trucks safely to transport materials throughout the quarry site Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections to ensure equipment safety and reliability Follow established haul routes, traffic patterns, and site safety protocols Communicate with dispatch, loaders, and team members to support efficient material movement Report equipment issues and maintain cleanliness to support safe operations What Are We Looking For Ability to safely operate heavy haul equipment in a quarry or similar environment Strong focus on safety, awareness, and adherence to procedures Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production setting Mechanical awareness with the ability to identify and report concerns Dependable and able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
