Job Description
Description Job Summary The Equipment Operator position requires the person to demonstrate the ability to safely and efficiently operate an extended boom forklift. Responsibilities and Duties To be proficient in moving equipment/materials without causing damage, maintain forklift in good working condition, notify Yard Superintendent or Project Manager when any maintenance and/or repairs are required, and work efficiently and productively throughout workday. The Equipment Operator is ultimately responsible for the safety of all personnel involved in lifting activities, adequacy of lifting gear utilized, ensuring that equipment/materials are not damaged during lifts, and their level of productivity.
