Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Loader Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in loading and unloading materials, operating heavy equipment and performing basic maintenance on various types of equipment to include, Grinder, Screener, and Wheel Loader. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of operational efficiency and safety. Duties Safely and efficiently operate various equipment, including Wheel Loaders, Grinders, and Screening equipment. Perform maintenance tasks on loaders and grinders to fulfill preventantive maintenance requirements and corrective actions. Learn and execute preventative maintenance and corrective actions of heavy equipment. Learn and execute mixing activties Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with supervisors, equipment operators, and truck drivers to optimize workflow and address any operational issues. Collaborate with office manager regarding shipping and recieving activities, and retail customer loading. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any maintenance needs. Requirements Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous. Ability to operate wheel loader and other material handling equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective mixing. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
