Monroe, LA Pay:
$22 to $25 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule:
Start time: 6:45 AM 10 to 12 hour shifts Every other Saturday (half day) Join a Stable Team That Keeps Monroe Running Waste Connections is looking for a dependable, safety minded Equipment Operator to join our team at White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and enjoy working outdoors, this is an opportunity to build a long term career with a growing company that values hard work, safety, and reliability. What You'll Do Operate bulldozers, articulated dump trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Pull, spread, and compact waste in active landfill operations Haul, move, and place dirt as needed Serve as a spotter to ensure the safe movement of trucks, equipment, and personnel Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns Maintain a clean and organized work area Work outdoors in various weather conditions while following all safety procedures What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience operating bulldozers and articulated dump trucks required Experience operating trackhoes, compactors, tractors, or additional heavy equipment is a plus Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work long hours in an outdoor environment Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Why Waste Connections?
