Job Description
We are looking for highly experienced Heavy Haul Truck Operators with a minimum of 10 years of professional operating experience to join our team. This position is ideal for operators who are comfortable working around large, specialized equipment and demanding job sites and who take pride in safe, efficient, and professional equipment operation. Equipment You May Operate depending on project requirements, equipment may include: Boom trucks and bucket trucks Heavy-duty 6x6 articulated dump trucks Volvo A30-class articulated dump trucks and similar equipment Other heavy-haul, off-road, and specialized equipment Responsibilities Safely operate heavy haul and specialized equipment on construction, industrial, utility, and/or project sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns. Safely load, transport, position, and unload equipment and materials as required. Operate equipment in a variety of terrain, weather, and job-site conditions. Follow all company safety procedures, site-specific requirements, and applicable regulations. Maintain awareness of personnel, structures, utilities, vehicles, and other hazards while operating equipment. Assist with equipment positioning, setup, loading, and securing when required. Perform routine operator-level equipment care and maintenance. Communicate effectively with supervisors, ground personnel, mechanics, and other operators. Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation. Keep equipment clean and properly cared for. Represent the company professionally while working on customer and project sites.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 10 years of heavy equipment/heavy haul operating experience. Demonstrated experience operating large commercial or industrial equipment. Strong understanding of equipment safety, load awareness, and job-site hazards. Ability to safely maneuver large equipment in confined areas and challenging terrain. Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical or safety issues. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as as part of a crew. Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, travel, or varying schedules when project demands require it.Preferred:
Experience operating articulated 6x6 dump trucks, including Volvo A30 or comparable equipment . Boom truck or bucket truck experience. Heavy-haul or oversized-load experience. Construction, utility, industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, or similar project experience. CDL and/or applicable endorsements, if required for the equipment and work being performed. OSHA/site-specific safety training or other relevant certifications.Benefits:
