Heavy Equipment Operator
•Heavy Civil Construction A reputable Heavy Civil Construction Company is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator with expertise in underground site work. This is a full-time position for a motivated individual with 3-5 years in heavy civil construction with expertise in underground site work (pipework, drainage, water, and sewer systems).
Key Responsibilities :
Operate heavy equipment (excavator, bulldozer, loader, etc.) for heavy civil construction projects Operating heavy equipment for commercial sitework, pipework, drainage, water and sewer systems to accomplish difficult or highly complex tasks. Ensure safe and efficient equipment operation. Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance or repairs. Maintain equipment service records. Coordinate work to meet project schedules and priorities. Work safely in trenches and confined spaces.
Requirements :
Proven experience (3-5 years) in heavy civil construction, specifically underground site work. Proficiency in operating excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, etc. Mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valid certifications:
OSHA 10, DOT
Medical Card, Massachusetts Hoisting License, and a valid Driver's License (clean record). Reliable transportation. Ability to pass a drug test. Strong skills in reading blueprints, elevations, and specifications. Commitment to safety in the work environment, trenches and confined spaces.
