Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced, dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our excavation and construction team. The ideal candidate has experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while taking pride in producing quality work. This position involves operating equipment on residential and commercial excavation projects utility installations, grading, drainage and site preparation. Currently working in Fitchburg, MA and Providence, RI. Responsibilities Safely operate excavators, skid steers and other heavy equipment. Perform excavation, grading, trenching and site preparation according to project specifications. Assist with site preparation activities including grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup. Assist laborers when equipment operation is not required. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and occupational safety regulations. Ability to handle material handling equipment safely and efficiently in diverse construction scenarios. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance.
Qualifications:
Excavation Experience Valid drivers license Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Strong work ethic with positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation to and from work. Must be punctual and dependable. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
