Who We Are RLO Contractors is a family-owned excavation and site development company founded in 1976 in Dayton, MD. In addition to our excavation work, we operate a large materials division producing and selling mulch, topsoil, stone, and other landscaping products. Nearly 50 years in business, over 100 employees, and a fleet that's consistently updated with the latest equipment. Many of our team members have been here 20+ years. People come here and stay. Job Overview RLO Contractors Inc is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Benefits package (health, dental, vision) Paid time off & holidays Stable, full-time work Opportunities for training and career advancement Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, haul trucks, rollers and skid steers etc. Perform grading, excavation, and site work according to project plans Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work closely with crew members and site supervisors Follow all safety procedures and job site regulations Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment Ability to read grades and work from plans. Knowledge of Trimble GPS is a plus Strong understanding of job site safety practices Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) Ability to pass a drug test Schedule Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays as needed
Pay:
$23.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
