Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery and vehicles to support building projects, infrastructure development, and site preparation. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, skid steers, backhoes, dump trucks, water truck, and other heavy equipment with precision and safety. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Handle material loading, transportation and placement. Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Assist with site preparation by managing equipment for excavation, grading, lifting, and moving materials efficiently. Conduct inspections of machinery before and after use, reporting any issues or repairs needed promptly. Skills Extensive construction site experience with knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and operation. Proven ability to operate a range of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators , dozers, backhoes, dump trucks, front loader trucks, and water trucks. Mechanical knowledge and general equipment upkeep. Experience with construction experience involving hand tools and material handling equipment operation. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving; familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance tasks such as greasing and checking fluids independently.
