Job Description

A leading heavy civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced MTMB Operator to join our growing team. This position requires extensive travel, as projects are located throughout the United States.
Acceptable candidates will:
Have verifiable construction experience. Own transportation and have a valid driver's license. Provide identification to verify employment eligibility — we participate in E-Verify. Pass drug screening - we are a Drug Free Workplace.

POSITION DETAILS
  • Actively participates in the MTBM system assembly/disassembly during mobilization/demobilization periods,
  • Responsible for testing all MTBM utility connections
  • Monitors line and grade; ensuring alignment remains within tolerance
  • Maintains accurate records of jacking operations per specified forms
  • Responsible for operations, daily maintenance and routine repairs of MTBM
  • Communicates equipment and tunneling status to shift operators; pertinent to smooth transfer of controls
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be physically fit for underground/confined spaces and be comfortable climbing/crawling within these areas
  • Requires knowledge/experience with mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics to successfully monitor and analyze operating systems
  • Requires a pro-active approach to ensure success
  • Exhibits a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety
  • Potential candidates must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
