Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience (3 years minimum) in operating 30,000 lb (or larger) excavator. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations on construction sites, as we are a Fiberglass Pool Installation company. We also work in the snow in the winter time so the job is year round. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for digging pool hole, dozers, backhoes, and loaders to perform various tasks on construction sites. Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to execute excavation, grading, paving, and horizontal drilling projects effectively. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment to minimize risks on the job site. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Requirements Proven experience (3 year minimum) in heavy equipment operation, particularly with 30,000 lb (or larger) excavators. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. Experience with grader operation and paving techniques is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments typical of construction sites. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
