Equipment Operator/ Crusher Operator

P.Y. Estes & Son Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Crusher Operator. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment and crushing plant Performing daily pre- and post-operation inspections Assisting in training less-experienced employees on proper equipment operation Performing maintenance and repairs (welding experience is a plus) Following and being knowledgeable of MSHA requirements Completing assigned tasks to safely and efficiently produce aggregates Supporting crew members and contributing to overall job efficiency Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required Experience with crushing operations and maintenance preferred Ability to weld and perform equipment maintenance is a plus Must have a valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Must be physically capable of performing job duties Must be willing to work extended hours, nights, and/or weekends as needed
