BDS Tire Recycling, Inc., located in Fairfield, Maine , has an immediate opening for a Loader Operator on our night shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-5:00 AM) at our 16,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, automation-driven tire processing facility . What You'll Do As a Loader Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely by:

Equipment Operation:

Using a front-end loader to handle processed materials and move scrap tires throughout the facility grounds.

Material Handling:

Loading trucks for shipment and ensuring feed bins are filled with the correct materials for production.

Pile Management:

Maintaining organized material stockpiles in compliance with DEP regulations and company policies.

Yard Maintenance:

Using loader attachments, such as rotary brooms, to keep fire lanes, access routes, and paved areas clean and free of tire debris.

Routine Maintenance:

Performing daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance such as lubrication, refueling, and cleaning to ensure reliable operation.

Record Keeping:

Documenting incidents, near misses, and maintenance activities accurately.

Safety Compliance:

Following all company and OSHA safety standards while maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area. Qualifications At least one year of experience operating a loader or similar heavy equipment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience with manual labor or industrial operations preferred. Ability to work independently and follow detailed directions. Strong mechanical ability , physical strength, and alertness. Basic reading and math skills. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (pre-employment physical required). Why BDS?
