In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of small equipment to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on-site. Your expertise will help drive projects forward, from site preparation to finishing touches, contributing to the successful completion of site work. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and machinery operation to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate small equipment including mini-excavators, and skid steers with precision and safety. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, trenching, excavation, and material hauling to facilitate construction progress. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries on-site. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use efficiently across multiple project phases. Support other construction activities as needed, including site cleanup and material handling. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs. Experience Proven experience operating a range of construction equipment such as mini-excavators and skid steers. Strong mechanical knowledge of small equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures. Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is highly desirable. Hands-on experience working on construction projects involving , installing underground utilities, grading, excavation, is preferred This role is perfect for individuals eager to further develop their skills in small equipment operation within a collaborative construction environment dedicated to excellence and safety.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
