Position Title:

3rd shift Parking Lot Sweeper Operator, Flint, MI (Genesee County)

Position Requirements/Description:

Valid Drivers' License - a chauffer's license will be needed to operate sweeping equipment. If you don't already have one, within 2 weeks of your start date, you'll be required to obtain one. •Please note that we're not looking for CDL drivers for these openings, only a chauffer's license is needed. A Michigan Medical Card is required to work in this role. If you don't have one, you'll need to complete and pass a DOT Physical to obtain a medical card. Cost of the physical is the responsibility of the hire, once you've worked with us for 30 days, you'll be reimbursed for the cost of that physical. Position is 50% Equipment Operator & 50% Labor. You are not just driving a sweeper truck, you'll need to get in and out of the vehicle to perform other job responsibilities as listed. This role can be very physical at times. Remove litter in parking lot using a sweeper truck and a backpack blower. Empty debris receptacles and move obstructions in parking lot. Training will be provided - training time is approximately 2 - 4 weeks. Must be able to work independently.

Additional Position Details & Offerings:

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Overtime will need to be worked, while not a guarantee, could be as many as 15 hours in a week. Overtime hours are paid at time and a half. This is a 3rd shift position with core working hours being 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM. With overtime, you could be out working until 8:30 AM (or later) to ensure jobs are completed.

Work Schedule:

5 days on, 2 days off - this rotating schedule means you will need to work weekends.

Pay Rate:
