CDL Driver - Heavy Equipment and Aggregate Hauling

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and heavy equipment to deliver materials, load and unload cargo, and ensure timely transportation services. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will contribute to efficient operations and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Operate a variety of trucks including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds with precision and adherence to safety protocols Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, demonstrating strong manual lifting skills and mechanical knowledge Drive safely across designated routes, following all traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Assist with the maintenance of trucks and equipment, reporting any mechanical concerns promptly Manage documentation related to deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs accurately and efficiently Collaborate with team members to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and load management in a fast-paced environment Skills Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the truck types operated Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers Experience operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently Proven driving record with experience in commercial driving and delivery operations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes Familiarity with load securing techniques for different truck types Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and transportation standards Join our team if you thrive in a fast-moving environment where your driving skills make a tangible impact.
