Job Description

Wadel Stabilization, Inc. is a dynamic contractor based in Hart, MI, specializing in soil modification, stabilization, and full-depth reclamation. Our projects include roadways, parking lots, and airport runways, where we deliver innovative soil solutions to meet diverse construction needs. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Excavator Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy construction equipment with precision and safety to support various infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties:
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and water trucks to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with site layout and material handling to facilitate smooth construction workflows Support other operators with horizontal drilling, tanker operations, paving activities, and soil stabilization tasks as needed Follow all safety protocols and communicate effectively with team members to maintain a safe work environment Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and project progress reports
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating excavators and heavy machinery in construction or related environments Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment including Caterpillar machinery and other heavy-duty tools Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating dump trucks or similar vehicles is preferred Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality Construction site experience with proficiency in dozer, loader operation, backhoe operation, grader operation, horizontal drilling, tanker operation, paving, or soil stabilization is highly desirable Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety compliance Join our team to build essential infrastructure while advancing your skills in a fast-paced construction environment!

From $30.00 per hour
