The ideal candidate will have experience operating earthmoving equipment on site development, roadway, utility, and grading projects. This position requires the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate bulldozers, scrapers, excavators, loaders, off road trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Perform rough and finish grading according to project specifications and grade stakes. Move, spread, and compact soil and aggregate materials. Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and construction drawings. Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation. Identify and report equipment maintenance needs and mechanical issues. Work closely with project supervisors, grade checkers, and other equipment operators. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite procedures. Assist with general site work as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience operating bulldozers and/or scrapers in a construction environment. Experience with GPS machine control systems preferred. Ability to perform rough and finish grading. Knowledge of site development, excavation, and earthwork operations. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Preferred Qualifications CDL license preferred but not required. Experience with additional heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, graders, or compactors. Experience on commercial, municipal, or roadway construction projects. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment. Ability to climb on and off heavy equipment safely. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime when required.
