Starting at $28.00/hour (with yearly reviews) Overtime after 40 hours Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced CDL-A Yard Switcher / Yard Driver for a 2nd shift position at our Ypsilanti facility. This role is critical to maintaining efficient yard operations and ensuring safe, timely trailer movement. Key Responsibilities Move trailers in and out of dock doors Transport trailers between multiple yard locations Verify trailer numbers and seal integrity against paperwork Inspect trailers for DOT compliance and safety concerns Report mechanical or safety issues to leadership and security Assist OTR drivers as needed Open and close trailer doors during dock operations Follow all GM and site-specific safety regulations Physical & Work Environment Frequent climbing in and out of trucks Walking, bending, and standing for extended periods Working in all weather conditions (yard and dock environments) Requirements Valid CDL (per site requirements) Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Ability to work overtime and Saturdays consistently Knowledge of DOT regulations and yard safety procedures Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Apply Now https://intelliapp.driverapponline.com/c/logisticsinsights Contact Recruiting for
