Job Description

Job Overview Northern Aggregate Inc is looking to add an experienced heavy equipment operator to our team. Preferred operating experience in more than one of the following: Loaders, Dozers, Skid steers, and Excavators. Pay starts at $28/hour and increases depending on experience. Duties Perform daily pre-shift inspections; accurately recording any defects or problems needing attention and relay that information to the correct person (Plant Operator, Mechanic, etc). Operate equipment safely and efficiently to maintain daily production goal. Perform general maintenance, repair and service equipment and plant as required or directed by plant operator. General daily housekeeping of equipment and as directed by the plant operator. Assist with plant set-up and tear down. Monitor plant and inform plant operator of any problems that may arise. Follow directions and perform additional tasks assigned by the plant operator. Assist with any cleanup of product spillage. Perform all tasks safely and ensure all workers are following safety policies and safety guidelines set forth by MSHA. Requirements Willing to travel & work weekends as needed during peak season. 2+ years experience operating Loaders, Dozers, Excavators and/or Skidsteers. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. MSHA Part 46 Training Certificate (or the ability to get certified) Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments ( Must pass pre-employment drug test and physical ) Driver's License (preferred)
