We are committed to safety, precision, and delivering high-quality work on every project. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Excavator Operator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in underground utility installation and site development by operating excavators efficiently and accurately in coordination with ground crews. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators for trenching, grading, backfilling, and utility installation Excavate safely around existing utilities Follow grade stakes, lasers, and project plans to maintain proper elevations and slopes Work closely with pipe layers and laborers to ensure safe and efficient operations Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Maintain clean and organized job sites Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Qualifications 5+ years of experience operating excavators in underground utility or heavy civil construction Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes Strong understanding of trench safety and excavation practices Experience working around live utilities Good communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Overtime opportunities Opportunities for advancement Why Join Us?
