About the
Role:
We are looking for motivated and reliable Snow Removal Operators to join our team for the winter season in the St. Paul area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining safe, accessible operations for high-volume commercial and zero-tolerance industrial trucking facilities. If you are a skilled equipment operator who takes pride in precision work, strict safety standards, and keeping operations moving through Minnesotan winters, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Heavy Equipment Operation:
Efficiently and safely operate full-size wheel loaders, skid steers, plows, and salt spreaders in commercial lots and industrial fleet environments.
Snow & Ice Control:
Clear pathways, driveways, loading docks, and parking areas; apply salt and de-icing agents to eliminate hazards before, during, and after winter weather events.
Site Hazards & Quality Control:
Perform routine pre- and post-clearing inspections of entryways, high-traffic lanes, and walkways to ensure zero-tolerance standards are met.
Equipment Care:
Perform daily pre-trip equipment checks, routine fluid checks, clearing, and minor operational adjustments to keep machinery in peak working condition.
Safety & Communication:
Strictly adhere to site safety protocols and communicate clearly with dispatch and site managers regarding job completion, weather shifts, or site risks.
Qualifications Experience:
Prior commercial snow removal, heavy equipment operation (skid steer / wheel loader mandatory), or winter groundskeeping experience preferred.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment and operating power tools.
Situational Awareness:
Ability to navigate busy trucking yards safely and preserve surrounding landscape, curbs, and structures during snow displacement.
Physical & Weather Readiness:
Stamina to work extended shifts in sub-zero temps and adverse winter conditions.
