In this energetic role, you will operate tow trucks and related equipment to safely transport vehicles, assist customers in distress, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and proactive attitude will drive success in this fast-paced environment. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills while making a tangible difference for drivers on the road. Duties Safely operate light-duty tow trucks, mainly flatbeds, but also any other light duty recovery vehicles to tow or transport vehicles of varying sizes. Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps and chains to ensure safe transport. Assist customers with roadside needs by providing excellent customer service, clear communication, and professional support. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, ensuring positive interactions even under stressful circumstances. Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and operational reports for accountability and safety compliance. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards are met. Qualifications Valid class E driver's license with a clean driving record is required; commercial driving experience is highly preferred. Must pass pre employment drug and alcohol screening. Minimum age requirement 23 years of age due to our company's insurance standard. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive terminology preferred Experience operating tow trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
