Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, site development, and material handling. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to impactful infrastructure developments. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, Scrapers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and other construction machinery with precision and safety. Manage the operation of various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks and water trucks for material transportation and site cleanup. Handle specialized equipment and machinery as needed for project requirements. Conduct routine inspections of machinery before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in site preparation by grading, excavating, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining site cleanliness. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively. Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Must be able to read blueprints. Must be able to operate Lasers. Experience Proven experience operating construction site machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge of various construction equipment and their maintenance needs. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks including dump trucks and road tractors is a plus. Prior experience working on construction sites with familiarity in handling machinery. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments. Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting to ensure operational readiness.
