Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile Heavy Equipment Operator/Farm Hand to join our team. This role combines skilled operation of heavy machinery with hands-on farm management and maintenance tasks. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of daily farm operations and maintaining equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, hard-working and eager to contribute. Pay Pay is based on experience Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, loaders, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently to support planting, harvesting, irrigation, and land development activities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Support farming activities such as planting and harvesting Handle heavy lifting tasks involving feed bags, equipment parts, or livestock supplies while adhering to safety protocols Assist with other farm staff in daily operations to promote efficient workflow and safety standards Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, dozers or similar equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on machinery Familiarity with farming techniques related to agriculture Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform equipment repairs confidently Knowledge of farming safety procedures including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions If you're hardworking, dependable and take pride in a job well done, we would love to hear from you.
