Equipment Operator

Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks Manage various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials and supplies across construction sites Use specialized equipment like concrete mixers and farm machinery to support specific project needs Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance before and during operation Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Assist with site preparation, material placement, excavation, backfilling, and other construction activities as directed Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational reports Skills Proven construction site experience with hands-on operation of heavy machinery and equipment Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment Valid commercial driver's license with experience operating various types of trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker vehicles Proficiency in operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and Caterpillar equipment Knowledge of construction safety standards and ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines Ability to read technical manuals and interpret operational instructions accurately Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced construction environment.
