Job Description

Job Summary Join our construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and take charge of operating a variety of heavy machinery to support large-scale construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality site operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, contribute to impactful projects, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Safely operate specialized vehicles including , dump trucks, water trucks, farm machinery, and transport materials across the site. Ablity to use Trimble GPS systems. Assist with site preparation by leveling ground, digging trenches, and moving materials efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to execute tasks accurately and on schedule. Maintain a clean and organized work area around equipment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and ensure smooth workflow across different phases of construction. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of heavy equipment operation in various environments. Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery including Caterpillar equipment and other major brands. Hands-on experience with operating specific machinery like dozers, loaders, backhoes, amnd excavators. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues when necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Join us in building something great!
