MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

candidates may be exempt from participating in certain training sessions if they master the pre-testing for that particular skill area.) 3 Blueprint Training 3 Measuring Devices Training on the following required measuring device(s):
  • Tape measure (English and metric)
  • Steel rule (English and metric)
  • Caliper

Manager 2.0 Detailed Job Duties 2.1 Completing HBT Program (ol-Mac asic raining) Task 2.1.1 Participating in training sessions 2.1.2 Abiding by the rules, regulations, and procedures stated in Hol-Mac's Operating Policy and Personnel Manual 2.2 Abiding by Hol-Mac's Environmental Health and Safety Handbook Task 2.2.1 Wearing proper safety equipment and appropriate clothing in designated areas 2.2.2 Practicing safe lifting techniques 2.2.3 Inspecting overhead crane and rigging devices before use 2.2.4 Inspecting equipment and tooling for wear and safety violations before use 2.2.5 Utilizing equipment and tooling in a safe and proper manner 2.2.6 Following proper procedures when preparing, applying, storing, and/or disposing of hazardous materials (if applicable) 2.3 Reporting labor Task 2.3.1 Claiming labor on the mainframe computer 2.4 Performing setup operation Task 2.4.1 Locating parts and shop floor instructions (including checking revision level of shop floor documents) 2.4.2 Locating Setup Sheet (including checking the revision level of Setup Sheet) if applicable (e.g. - Machine #219 - small LVD) 2.4.3 Locating proper tooling and workholding device(s) 2.4.4 Installing and positioning tooling and workholding device(s) 2.4.5 Loading part in machine 2.4.6 Loading computer program 2.4.7 Adjusting program (when necessary) and making final offset adjustments 2.4.8 Running first part 2.4.9 Inspecting and documenting first part 2.5 Performing run operation Task 2.5.1 Machining parts per print 2.5.1.1 Loading part in machine 2.5.1.2 Executing computer program 2.5.1.3 Troubleshooting problems associated with machine operation 2.5.1.4 Unloading part from machine 2.6 Inspecting and documenting parts Task 2.6.1 Completing all dimensional data requirements 2.6.1.1 Inspecting and documenting parts depending on frequency code 2.6.2 Reporting rejects and/or reworks properly through the use of the reject system 2.7 Handling material Task 2.7.1 Palletizing parts 2.7.2 Tagging pallet/container and verifying parts count 2.8 Participating in Continuous Improvement Task 2.8.1 Submitting and implementing Continuous Improvement ideas on a weekly basis 2.8.2 Striving to achieve predetermined annual Cost Savings goal(s) 2.8.3 Performing "5S" tasks daily without fail 2.8.4 Maintaining a minimum "5S" audit score of 90%+ in his/her area(s) per week 2.8.5 Participating in company-sponsored training sessions 2.8.6 Learning additional job duties through cross-training 2.8.7 Monitoring and/or updating Visual Board daily 2.9 Performing routine preventative maintenance Task 2.9.1 Completing preventative maintenance checklist daily without fail 2.9.2 Grease machine weekly or as needed 2.9.3 Checking quantity of consumables/supplies; communicating these type needs to designated person 2.9.4 Reporting maintenance problems
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
