Job Descriptions:

Heavy Equipment Operator- Responsible for having strong knowledge and experience in operation of heavy equipment safely including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, rollers, and skid steers etc. Have knowledge and understand reading plan sets/design drawings, survey/layout markings and numbers, shooting grade for site grading and the construction of footings, foundations, and underground utilities. Have good communication skills with team members, sub-contractors and management. Handle all interactions with team members, subcontractors, clients, and the public in a professional manner. Responsible for performing daily pre and post inspections of equipment including fueling, greasing, and cleaning. Fill out proper inspection forms daily and report damages. Laborer- Responsible for meeting attendance schedules with dependability and consistency. Must have a basic knowledge of the proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in construction work. Able to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Use equipment and tools properly and safely. Able to pass a pre-employment screening. Be compliant with all safety standards including Jeffery Contracting and

OSHA/MSHA.

Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor. Perform manual work in preparing surfaces, ditches, culverts, or other areas. Shovel dirt within the construction area as defined by grade fill specifications given by the foreman/operator. Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment and secure the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

Company Bonus Program Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (Class A CDL preferred.)
• Good knowledge of materials, methods and tools.
• 1+ Years of Heavy Equipment Operation experience.
• Pass pre-employment screening.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and ability to operate in a safe and effective manner.
• Have keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain a safe worksite.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Safely and efficiently operate and help in laboring activities (raking, shoveling, etc.).
• Be compliant with all safety standards including Jeffery Contracting and

OSHA/MSHA

regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

• Work well with others and be willing to take direction.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
• Maintain daily records.
• Must be reliable and on time daily.
