Overview We are seeking a motivated Heavy Equipment Operator with at least one year of experience to join our team. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring efficient progress and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help us complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery with precision and safety. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment before use. Assist in site preparation, grading, paving, and other construction activities requiring heavy machinery. Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to execute tasks efficiently. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and any issues encountered during operation. Adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment movement and site activities effectively. Experience Minimum of one year of hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or similar machinery. Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic troubleshooting skills. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Familiarity with operating Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is preferred. Ability to perform commercial driving duties involving dump trucks or water tanks is a plus.
