Excavator Operator for Pipe Utilities (Trench Excavation Experience Req) Kernersville, NC Up to $25 an hour - Full-time Up to $25 an hour - Full-time Operate heavy equipment along with manual labor tasks as part of a 6 man team installing water pipe, sanitary sewer pipe and manholes, storm drainage pipe, and inlets on commercial and municipal sites across 7 counties in the Piedmont, NC region. Applicant must have a valid NC drivers license and must provide own transportation to jobsites. All applicants will be required to submit to drug screening prior to being hired.

Responsibilities include:

Ready to begin work on jobsite by 7:00 am Safe operation of equipment, crew, jobsite. Monitor fluids, filters and gauges on the equipment and maintain proper levels of all fluids, clean filters. Daily greasing of equipment. Must be able to carry grades for trench excavation or backfill. Materials handling and assembly of shoring systems. Operators are required to participate in manual labor tasks as required on project.

Minimum Experience Required:

Verifiable Safety Training. Verifiable experience operating a 10ton Track Excavator or 10ton Wheel Loader. Experience with assembling and installing shoring systems. Experience with trench excavation and backfill. Forklift Operators are not qualified for this position. No applicant will be considered without this experience. Applicants who do not complete the requested Indeed Skills Assessments will not be considered for employment.
