Job Description

We are seeking a long-term candidate who values the close-knit atmosphere of a small, family-owned company to work locally around McDowell County. The ideal candidate will be a skilled equipment operator to run large excavator, dozers, mini ex and skid steers
  • who is capable of handling all phases of site grading — from tree removal and lot clearing to finish grading.
Responsibilities include meticulous equipment care, routine maintenance, greasing, and cleaning. Mechanical knowledge is a plus. We're looking for someone reliable, and proud of their work — someone who treats company equipment as if it were their own. Hours are somewhat flexible. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to transport equipment (non-CDL) between job sites CDL's are a plus. The candidate must demonstrate strong work ethic, the ability to manage laborers effectively, and a positive attitude. This is a 1099 subcontractor position (paid via 1099 tax form).
