Job Description
Outpatient TherapistLMV Counseling | Wilmington, NCW-2 Position | Full-Time or Part-Time | Hybrid Flexibility LMV Counseling is an established, values-driven group practice that has served the Wilmington community since 2017. We are currently hiring licensed and associate licensed therapists to provide outpatient therapy services, with a strong preference for clinicians trained in EMDR or other trauma-focused modalities. Our practice has deep roots in the Wilmington community, a strong referral base, and ongoing marketing efforts that support consistent client inquiries and caseload growth for clinicians. Our mission is to help individuals develop and cultivate the belief that they are deserving and worthy human beings. Unlike larger corporate mental health organizations, LMV Counseling intentionally maintains a connected and collaborative environment where clinicians are personally supported, valued, and encouraged to develop their own clinical identity and specialties. At our practice, you are not lost in a large system. Compensation Starting at $50/hour, with compensation based on licensure, experience, specialization, and clinical hours.
Responsibilities Maintain a caseload of:
25 sessions per week for full-time clinicians 18 sessions per week for part-time clinicians Provide high-quality outpatient therapy services Complete assessments, treatment plans, and documentation within 24 hours Proactively engage and retain clients, including appropriate outreach to inactive clients Communicate schedule availability with the administrative team Work primarily in person, with hybrid flexibility available Maintain ethical, professional, and trauma-informed standards of care Participate in a collaborative and supportive team culture Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Active North Carolina license or associate license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCSWA, LCMHCA, LMFTA) Experience in outpatient therapy or private practice preferred EMDR training or other advanced clinical training preferred Comfortable using EHR and telehealth platforms Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ideal Candidates Will Value autonomy while also appreciating team collaboration Want the support of a group practice without a corporate environment Be committed to evidence-based, client-centered care Enjoy building a specialty or niche within a supportive setting Thrive in a calm, professional, relationship-oriented culture Appreciate in-person connection and community Full-Time Benefits Two weeks paid time off 3% IRA match for eligible employees Paid administrative time $300 annual CEU stipend Supplemental healthcare benefit including $0 telehealth medical and behavioral health visits and prescription savings Practice Support & Environment Beautiful newly renovated office space with natural light and furnished offices Large group room available for groups and workshops Billing, credentialing, scheduling, and administrative support Strong referral stream supported by an established reputation and community presence Monthly consultation groups and collaborative support Opportunity to collaborate with our in-house Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for continuity of care About LMV Counseling LMV Counseling was founded in 2017 and has grown into an established group practice known for providing thoughtful, trauma-informed care in Wilmington, NC.
