Permanent/Full-Time Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a strong background in civil construction for our Raleigh/Durham operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operating excavators and bulldozers, with three years of experience in each. Additionally, the candidate should possess at least three years of experience in utility work, demolition, clearing, and site preparation.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and bulldozers safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret grade stakes for accurate site preparation.
- Perform tasks related to utility installation, demolition, clearing, and site preparation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain high safety standards on all job sites.
- Be coachable.
Qualifications:
- Allow us to teach you how we operate.
- Three years of experience operating excavators.
- Three years of experience operating bulldozers.
- Three years of experience in utility work, demolition, and clearing.
- Ability to read and interpret grade stakes.
- Excellent communication skills and physical stamina.
- Strong team player with a focus on safety awareness.
